| Multi-Client Trade Compliance Application |
| Customer and/or End User |
The customer is a leading provider of computing support for international trade compliance applications for Fortune 500 companies.
|
| The Challenge |
At any given time, the company has several huge applications running for its Fortune 500 clients, in the area of international trade compliance. However, these applications had a very minimal set of features to help users in their User Maintenance Module.
As a result, the company received frequent requests from their clients to make the applications more user-friendly and customized. At the same time the company wanted to retain its applications to stand out for their unique design and look. Hence, management was looking for a solution to balance these two requirements-uniqueness in terms of design and look, and user-friendly customization for their clients.
|
| The
Solution |
After studying the existing application, PMAM proposed re-engineering the User Maintenance module to incorporate newly designed unique features for the application itself, along with a supporting module to permit customization by users. The new system allows the system administrator as well as regular users to customize their color-scheme of web pages and menus, and other look and feel items. At the same time, a base level of standardization ensured that the application preserved sufficient uniformity and consistency across all clients.
